4C Strengthens EMEA Presence with Three Senior Hires

The appointments spanning marketing, social media and sports confirm 4C’s focus on delivering industry-leading solutions for cross-screen advertising analytics and activation in EMEA

London — March 9th, 2016 — Today, 4C (www.4Cinsights.com), a data science and media technology company, announce the appointment of Kirsty Brice (née Wyllie) as Director of Marketing EMEA, Tim Lunn as Sports Sales Director EMEA and Hannah Smith as Senior Client Manager. These three key hires will support growing demand for its cross-screen advertising analytics and activation solutions throughout the EMEA region.

Kirsty Brice joins 4C as Marketing Director EMEA to raise awareness of the brand across the region through strategic activities targeting advertisers, agencies, media companies and content owners. She is responsible for developing and overseeing the trade and event marketing strategy and initiatives and for cementing 4C’s proposition and position across EMEA. Prior to 4C, she worked in marketing and sales roles in the media industry for over 12 years across different media channels – TV, Outdoor, Print and Digital – at JC Decaux, BBC World News, Dow Jones and Tapjoy. Most recently, she was running the EMENA marketing team at Exponential.

Tim Lunn joins 4C as Sports Sales Director for EMEA to work with sports federations, organising bodies, rights holders, sports brands and agencies. His remit is to ensure that 4C solutions help clients better realise the potential of their investment in sport by improving the value of their advertising across TV and social, and analysing the success of the content they create. Tim brings a strong sports industry background spanning 12 years, including roles at Sky Sports, Infostrada Sports and Prozone Sports. He joins 4C from STATS where he worked as Media Strategy & Business Development Manager for Europe, helping to drive the commercial growth of one of the leading global sports data and content providers. Tim’s hire is a newly created role and part of a wider strategic decision to target the sports industry.

To help support the growth of its social ads business across EMEA, 4C is also bringing on board Hannah Smith as Senior Client Manager. With over two years’ experience in paid social media working with advertisers and agencies at both Adobe and Brand Networks, she has a deep understanding of social advertising products and native ad platforms. Her main role is to work help scale 4C’s business with agency and publisher partners. She reports to Volker Ballueder, VP Sales and Activation at 4C.

Ballueder explained the reason behind Smith’s appointment: “Hannah joins our London office to support the European expansion of the 4C Social Ads SaaS product. Our ever-growing social media team in London, alongside the integration of our TV Sync features, has already enabled us to win contracts with major agencies and will help us accelerate our EMEA expansion. We are very happy to see Hannah become a key addition to our support team for social advertising in EMEA.”

4C entered the EMEA market through the acquisition of Teletrax in July 2015.
