Cambridge, UK, 30 May 2018 – Amino, the global media and entertainment technology solutions provider, today announced that the company will be returning to leading European trade show ANGA COM 2018 to showcase solutions that empower operators to adapt to the dynamic and changing demands in their marketplaces.
At the show – from June 12-14 in Cologne – visitors to Amino’s booth (7 A-51) will be able to see first-hand demonstrations of the company’s solutions portfolio, specifically designed to provide service providers with the capabilities they need to address consumer demands in today’s IP-driven, multiscreen24/7 video and TV marketplace. The Amino team will showcase its unique Android TV offering and demonstrate how it is transforming operators’ ability to quickly deploy leading-edge features such as voice control, multiscreen delivery, federated search, digital video recording, personalized UX and deployment of the latest apps.

Demonstrations will highlight Amino’s unique dual-mode flexibility to run Android TV or Linux without changing hardware and access to a variety of partner apps, all certified to meet the Operator Tier specifications and requirements.
- ‘Operation Upcycle’: highlighting how Amino is supporting operators to deploy a common platform that upgrades existing legacy hardware, saving operators the expense of a costly swap-out, and delivers the essential components required for a successful TV transformation, including a fresh and intuitive TV UX, growth in subscriber base, reduced CAPEX and quicker time to market.
- Cable-IP Transition Capabilities: illustrating how Amino helps operators migrate their services to IP-based service delivery via its ENABLE software and MOVE platform with demonstrations showing its successful implementations with as evidenced by Amino’s work with a number of German operators
- Service Assurance: Amino’s ENGAGE suite of service assurance management tools enable operators to efficiently and proactively support and improve quality of service across any network by solving configuration issues remotely, saving considerable OPEX and preventing technical dispatch.
