Exterity and Philips Professional Display Solutions extend partnership across new MediaSuite range

Edinburgh/Amsterdam, 22nd August 2019: Exterity and Philips Professional Display Solutions have announced their latest collaboration, working in partnership to achieve seamless integration between Exterity’s ArtioGuest® interactive guest experience portal and the latest Philips MediaSuite Professional TV, which includes Chromecast built-in.

Launched earlier this year, Philips MediaSuite is the first ever range of dedicated Pro TVs to offer Chromecast built-in, enabling guests to cast their own content – be it photos, movies, music or even presentations – instantly in up to 4K from their compatible laptop or mobile device (IOS, Android or Windows), with just the touch of a button.

Now, this latest collaboration between Exterity and Philips Professional Display Solutions delivers the power of ArtioGuest® onto the new MediaSuite range, enhancing the hassle-free wireless casting of movies, presentations and more from smart devices (mobiles, laptops, tablets) delivered by MediaSuite, with an interactive guest experience portal that also securely connects the user to unique offerings from guest services.

Perfect for all types of accommodation – from hotels and cruise ships through to military bases and student rooms – MediaSuite Pro TVs are available in a range of sizes – from 32” through to 65” – with options for either UHD or FHD, and all with direct LED back lights and high-quality panels to offer superior contrast, black level, brightness and colour saturation to ensure an outstanding picture performance.

Commenting on the collaboration with Exterity, Anthony Tizzard, EMEA Business Manager, said: “Philips Professional Display Solutions and Exterity have enjoyed a fantastic partnership, working together to enhance user experience for our customers over many years. We’re delighted to announce this latest launch with Exterity, and we’ll be continuing our work together to bring added functionality across our range in the months and years to come.”

Colin Farquhar, Exterity CEO, added: “This latest integration continues to expand our long-standing partnership with Philips. ArtioGuest provides a platform to customise the viewer experience in hotels, cruise ships, student residences as well as military bases and other workplace accommodation. Consumers today are increasingly tech-savvy and their expectations when travelling or living away from home are growing, so we are particularly pleased to compete this integration between ArtioGuest and the built-in Chromecast feature of the Philips MediaSuite Professional.”
