Exterity appoints Scott Payne to support growing demand for IP video solutions in the Midwest
Atlanta, 25th February 2016 – Exterity, the leading provider of enterprise IP video solutions, today announced the appointment of Ohio-based Scott Payne as Midwest Channel Manager to support its expansion in the US market. Scott brings a background in education, a rapidly growing market for IP video services, as well as a strong network of channel partners across the Midwest. Following the appointment of JD Jones as VP Americas in 2014 and Ron DiGiovine as West Coast Sales Manager in 2015, this announcement reinforces Exterity’s ambition as a leading provider of video communications solutions for the US market.
Commenting on the appointment, Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity, said: “Multiple sectors are growing at a considerable pace in the US – with education topping the list. Scott brings ten years of experience in the education sector, as well as solid channel relationships within the Great Lakes region, both of which will help us maintain our best in class support for our partners and customers.”
Leveraging his industry experience, Payne will also provide on-the-ground support for Exterity’s StreamForce partner program, a network of expert AV resellers and integrators committed to deploying Exterity solutions. Prior to Exterity, Payne held channel management positions at Ramp Holdings, VBrick Systems and Nortel Networks, where he helped partners grow their unified communications and networking business offering for the corporate, education and government sectors.
JD Jones, VP Americas, Exterity, explained: “Exterity’s footprint in the US keeps growing, with more demand originating from the Midwest. Having Scott on board means that our partners and end users in the Great Lakes area now have an on-the-ground Exterity representative who has a track record of building and maintaining meaningful channel relationships and sales in high-growth sectors.”
Scott Payne, Midwest Channel Manager at Exterity, concluded: “I’m excited to be joining a world renowned expert in IP video solutions, and to help Exterity build even tighter relationships with customers and the partner community in one of the most dynamic markets in the US. Exterity IP video solutions combine connected devices, digital signage and video streaming capacities that can be easily deployed – making it a must-have package for K-12 and Higher Ed establishments in particular who are looking to distribute the best content at the tap of a finger.“
Following a successful FETC in Orlando, FL, in January, Exterity will demonstrate its enterprise IP video solutions on March 3-4 at Infocomm Connections (San Jose Convention Center, CL).
