Exterity Brings Enhanced IP Video and Digital Signage Portfolio To IBC 2019
Edinburgh, 28 August 2019 – Exterity, a leading provider of IP video, guest experience and digital signage technologies, is returning to IBC Show 2019 (Amsterdam, The Netherlands; 13 – 17 September 2019) to showcase its award-winning, complete end-to-end product portfolio. All demonstrations will be held on Exterity’s stand #14.C17.
Visitors to the show will see a number of key highlights, which include:
ArtioSign Interactive Control: The latest version of Exterity’s ArtioSign Digital Signage + IPTV in One application reveals a number of new features to IBC visitors, including the ability for users to update signage screens instantly and with ease using their remote control to promptly change layouts to hide and show content as and when they need it, without having to use scheduling tools. Users can now also manually select a VoD asset or channel to be played from a list and ensure that the right message, such as training material or live news reaches the right audience at the right time.
NDI support on AvediaStream Transcoders: Being showcased at IBC for the first time is Exterity’s built-in support for Network Device Interface (NDI), which enables easy distribution of production-quality video from NDI live production environments to an Exterity IP video solution, or contribute video from IPTV systems to NDI production environments.
SRT support on AvediaStream Gateway: AvediaStream Gateways capture live digital TV and radio channels from any terrestrial, satellite or cable source and stream them directly over an IP network. The g4400 gateway enables organisations to deliver live video, such as training sessions, between remote sites over the internet, without the need for costly dedicated delivery networks. As security and reliability are paramount, the gateway uses the SRT protocol, guaranteeing Secure and Reliable Transport of video, with minimal delay, between remote sites for distribution to all the screens within the same network.
ArtioGuest now supports Philips Built-in Chromecast: Exterity and Philips have been working closely together to achieve seamless integration betweenArtioGuest interactive guest experience portal and the latest Philips Professional TV, which has Chromecast support built-in. The integration of these two products securely connect the TV, Chromecast services and the guest’s mobile device, while protecting the user’s personal data.
