Exterity Brings Latest Developments in Enterprise IP Video to ANGA COM
The leading provider of enterprise video over IP solutions will demonstrate its:
- Enhanced fourth generation AvediaStream TVgateways
- New low latency HD AvediaStream encoding
- Full ‘Beyond the LAN’ range of products
Edinburgh, 6th May 2015 – Exterity (ANGA COM booth 10.1 / V21), the leading provider of enterprise IPTV technologies for the secure distribution of live, on-demand and recorded video over IP, today announced that it will showcase its full enterprise IP video portfolio at ANGA COM (Cologne, 9-11 June 2015). ANGA COM sees the launch of enhanced fourth generation AvediaStream TVgateways and a new low latency HD AvediaStream encoder that will integrate with any Exterity IPTV solution or industry standard IPTV equipment. On-booth demonstrations also include Exterity’s recently announced AvediaStream transcoders, the latest release of Artio middleware and the brand new Origin Server that together deliver Exterity’s ‘Beyond the LAN’ capability, which allows seamless delivery of video content across all enabled screens over a wide range of networks.
As content becomes ubiquitous, broadcasters and organisations increasingly require efficient solutions to distribute live TV content internally. In response to this demand, Exterity has enhanced its AvediaStream TVgateways with a fourfold increase in capacity and support for eight DVB broadcast inputs to a single blade from cable, terrestrial and satellite sources. For critical internal IP video services, the new AvediaStream TVgateways provide dual Ethernet capabilities, supporting automatic Ethernet switching on loss of network connection, when installed in an AvediaStream c1210 Chassis.
Businesses of all shapes and sizes, across a wide set of industries, are tuning in to the benefit of using their existing IP network investment to distribute video content to their organisations, including to employees operating from remote locations,” said Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity.
“The robust and flexible fourth generation TVgateways give companies access to live TV content to support their core business activity, while the continued roll-out of our ‘Beyond the LAN’ series provides enterprises with greater mobility through real-time communication, greater accessibility and enhanced productivity.”
At ANGA COM Exterity will demonstrate its full ‘Beyond the LAN’ range of products, which is being launched throughout 2015 to enable organisations to stream video content including live broadcast, internal TV channels and Over-the-Top content. The ‘Beyond the LAN’ product line facilitates the distribution of high quality video content to a number of screens across a wide range of networks, including the corporate wired LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and the Internet. This capability is critical for organisations that look to integrate Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) benefits with their Enterprise IP video solutions. The ‘Beyond The LAN’ solutions can be combined to build systems that cater for streams originating from all types of sources, such as cable, DTT, IP, satellite and more.
ANGA COM takes place on 9th – 11th June, 2015 in Cologne, Germany.
