Exterity to Showcase Entire Professional IPTV Product Portfolio for the Pro-AV Market at IMSE 2014
Munich, Germany, 23 September 2014 – Exterity, the leading provider of professional IPTV technologies for the secure distribution of live, on-demand and recorded video over IP, today announced that it is taking part in IMSE 2014 (8-9 October, International Trade Fair and Congress Center EXPO Krakow, Poland) alongside its partner Janusz Rupik PVP. The exhibition enables Exterity and Janusz Rupik PVP to demonstrate how the Exterity professional IPTV product portfolio can help pro-AV installers and organizations include IPTV as part of their communications strategy.
Visitors to the Exterity booth at IMSE will be able to see first hand how Exterity can enable the pro-AV community in Poland to deploy a fully end-to-end and robustly secure professional IPTV system. Key product demonstrations at the exhibition include the new high-density AvediaStream g44xx TVgateways, which can ingest broadcast streams from eight multiplexers via eight tuners in one blade, effectively enabling broadcasters and pro-AV installers to utilize a single head-end to stream content to scalable volumes of end point receivers, including UHD content. The integration of support Conditional Access, SecureMedia encryption and High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection v2 (HDCPv2) enables the gateways to offer the best content protection without compromising on video quality.
IMSE will also see demonstrations of the latest version of AvediaServer, which enables system administrators to monitor activity across the network and control activities, user access and system performance from a single user interface. AvediaServer provides system administrators with the tools needed to manage IPTV devices and software clients, as well as monitor end point access and content libraries. It includes an array of hardware and software options, making it suitable for IPTV installations, from broadcasters and operators to large multinational corporate environments. AvediaServer 6 includes Artio portal, which facilitates the creation and management of customized TV, VoD, radio and interactive pages and a consistent UI across multiple end points. Exterity has also developed Artio Multiview, a customizable on-screen mosaic to watch multiple streams on a single screen.
“Organizations in Central Europe are increasingly looking to integrate professional IPTV as part of their communications strategies, whether for their staff or visitors,” said Colin Farquhar, CEO, Exterity “At IMSE, we will showcase how organizations can distribute large volumes of live broadcast and internal video content seamlessly and at low cost through our flexible and future proofed IP solutions enabling them to concentrate on their core business needs.”
