Exterity showcases latest 4K IP Video & Digital Signage innovations, New Smart Control application AND U.S. launch of ArtioGuest at InfoComm
New York – May 24 2018 – Exterity, a leading global provider of integrated IP video and digital signage technologies, today announced that it will showcase new products and enhancements to its end-to-end product portfolio at InfoComm 2018 (booth N1464) in Las Vegas from June 6 -8, 2018.
Key Exterity product highlights at InfoComm include:
- New Smart Control™: This powerful new software app brings control of all IP video system applications and end points, including non-Exterity devices such as SmartTVs, into one central location. Smart Control enables simple day-to-day management of a mixed device IPTV system and brings the Control apps for ArtioSign and ArtioGuest into one place. Commands include the ability to control individual and groups of devices: turn them on/off, set volume/mute/unmute, change channels, publish signage to groups of screens and more, all with familiar drag-and-drop ease.
- New ArtioGuest®: Announced at ISE 2018 and now available to order, Exterity brings its new interactive user experience portal to InfoComm. Built from the ground up, ArtioGuest delivers a seamless, interactive TV and video experience for hospitality guests on any device. At InfoComm, Exterity will also demonstrate how the flexible UI can be applied to other vertical markets with ease.
- Updated ArtioSign®: The latest version of Exterity’s ArtioSign digital signage application includes the ability to add live Twitter feeds to signage, automatic conversion of imported videos, and LG 10” small signage display support.
- New AvediaPlayerTM m9405 4K Media Player: Making its debut at InfoComm and expected to ship this Summer, the new AvediaPlayer™ m9405 Media Player is the final piece of the 4K puzzle that enables a complete end-to-end, all-Exterity 4K workflow. Key features include 32GB storage to support media-rich digital signage; a cool, fanless design; 4K Ultra HD video quality and, like all Exterity media players, cost-effective Power over Ethernet (PoE).
Colin Farquhar, CEO at Exterity, commented on what he expects to see trending at InfoComm: “As AV-over-IP continues to build momentum, the proliferation of 4K, increasing concerns about content protection, and tighter systems integration with digital signage are all crucial trends that the market is focusing on. Exterity is heavily focused on enabling these new services to be integrated seamlessly with our IPTV and digital signage portfolio. Visitors to our stand at InfoComm will be able to see first-hand how Exterity is continuously innovating to support these buoyant markets, and how users can maximize the impact of their communications with our solutions.”
