Exterity chooses COMM-TEC GmbH to distribute integrated IP video and digital signage solutions in DACH region

The partnership will be formalised at ANGACOM 2017 (30 May – 1 June 2017, Cologne, Germany)

Exterity, a leading provider of IP video and digital signage technologies, and COMM-TEC GmbH, one of the largest distribution organisations for communication technology in Europe, today announced that they have signed a distribution agreement for Exterity’s integrated IP video and digital signage solutions in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Reflecting on the growth of IP video and digital signage in the DACH region, Exterity’s CEO Colin Farquhar explained: “It has now become clear that video is an integral part of any organisation’s communications – whether in a corporate group aiming to streamline its internal communications, a university modernising its infrastructure to attract more students, or a stadium maximising the value of its on-site connectivity. Partnering with COMM-TEC GmbH ensures that we continue to offer best in class integrated IP video and digital signage to forward-looking companies in the DACH region.”

COMM-TEC is the leading pan-European distribution partner and manufacturer of future-based communication technologies. Headquartered in Uhingen (Germany), near Stuttgart, the company is uniquely placed at the heart of the region. Working with COMM-TEC will enable Exterity to deliver solutions to the market on a larger scale, and gain access to a broader set of AV channel partners. An expert in the AV requirements of the region, COMM-TEC brings in-depth market knowledge, regional contacts and local support to Exterity, ensuring that it can offer an exceptional level of service to its customers.

Carsten Steinecker, General Manager Business Development, COMM-TEC, added: “We pride ourselves on offering expert recommandations and Exterity is renowned for its world class, high quality, end-to-end solutions for integrated IP video and digital signage. The fit between our companies was therefore obvious, and we look forward to showing our customers how they can adapt the Exterity portfolio for their own requirements – whether a sports club wanting to make their matchday experience more immersive, river boats cruising down the Danube or SMEs deploying creative communications methods to engage and retain talent.”
