Platform statement on the cancellation of NAB Show 2020

Platform Communications is very sad to hear the news today that NAB Show 2020 has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The Platform team has represented some of the most talked about media and technology companies at the event for over 20 years and it is one of the highlights of our calendar. We are very disappointed at the news, but believe it’s the right thing to do. The health of all the people involved in the event, and our families and friends, must come first.

We are already in the midst of planning and rolling out NAB communications campaigns for more than 10 major clients. Our absolute focus now is on helping those clients tell their stories to their customers, and to make sure they can effectively share their news, launches and industry thought leadership.

This is not a time to get distracted or over emotional. It’s business as usual at Platform Communications and we’re working hard to help our clients maintain momentum – delivering the right stories to the right audiences in the right channels (as ever). We will miss seeing our industry colleagues and friends in Las Vegas.
